Our Story
Pastel-Cake began with a simple belief: every custom cake should tell a story, and every dessert should feel like home. Founded in 2025 by Susana Soto Valdez in Angleton, Texas, Pastel-Cake grew from a home-kitchen dream into a local business creating handcrafted cakes and made-to-order desserts.
Susana discovered her passion for baking while working at Sam’s Club. She began experimenting at home, learning the craft, and adding her own creative touch to classic recipes. Encouraged by friends and family, she created Pastel-Cake to help customers celebrate birthdays, weddings, quinceañeras, baby showers, and life’s sweetest moments.
For Susana, baking is about more than dessert—it is about creating memories that last a lifetime.
